Delta Air Lines will honor 60 World War II veterans by chartering a flight to Normandy, France, for the D-Day 80th anniversary.
The airline works with organizations like the Best Defence Foundation and Michelin to support troops and veterans.
Delta aims to educate and engage people about the significance of D-Day and World War II through its initiatives and programs.
This year, SkyTeam partner Delta Air Lines will honor 60 World War II veterans and escort them directly to Normandy, France, to commemorate the D-Day 80th anniversary of the invasion that ended the war. This will be the third time Delta has chartered flights to the French airport, following 2022 and 2023.
