Elon Musk's SpaceX Ex-Air China Boeing 737-800 SpaceX Falcon Aviation Holdings

SpaceX, the space company that aims to transport humans to Mars, as well as other planets, has purchased a Boeing 737-800 Next Generation (NG). The aircraft, registered as N154TS, previously belonged to Air China, the China-based full-service airline, which phased out the 737-800 in May 2022.


Unclear use
According to ch-aviation data, the aircraft is now owned by Falcon Aviation Holdings, a Los Angeles, United States (US)-registered company. The company’s address is 1 Rocket Road, Hawthorne, Los Angeles, US, where SpaceX is also based, according to data provided by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA).


The FAA issued the certificate to the aircraft on August 16, 2023, deeming the aircraft airworthy on January 14, 2023. The regulator’s records also showed that Falcon Aviation Holdings owns another aircraft, a Gulfstream G550, registered as N272BG. The FAA issued the certificate for the G550 in August 2020.
