On February 8, Lufthansa flight LH773 departed Bangkok headed for Munich, Germany, when a medical emergency rapidly developed onboard, which resulted in the death of a German passenger. According to The Standard, the 63-year-old German man boarded the Lufthansa flight "visibly ill before his condition deteriorated rapidly."
