Aeromexico will resume flights to South Korea starting August 1, becoming the only Latin American airline to fly to Seoul with daily flights.
The route from Seoul to Mexico City will be the longest in Aeromexico's network, followed closely by the route to Tokyo.
Recently, Aeromexico faced challenges with the United States Department of Transportation, but the airline is working to present arguments and respond to concerns.
Aeromexico has announced the resumption of flights to South Korea starting August 1.
Flying back to Seoul
According to Cirium, the last scheduled flight to Incheon International Airport was on May 27, 2022. At the time, Aeromexico operated a 'triangular route,' flying from Mexico City to Monterrey, then to Seoul, and back to Mexico City. On August 1, Aeromexico will resume the same route with its Boeing 787 aircraft after more than two years.
