A Bombardier Challenger 600 crashed in Naples, Florida, killing two of the five passengers.
The cause of the crash is still unknown and is under investigation by the NTSB.
The incident caused a six-mile stretch of I-75 to close and resulted in total gridlock on the highway.
Around 15:15 local time on February 9, the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) reported that a Bombardier Challenger 600 crashed shortly after takeoff in Naples, Florida. The private jet was carrying five passengers at the time, two of whom were killed when the plane crashed into the nearby I-75 highway.
The aircraft had departed from The Ohio State University Airport (OSU) and was set to land at Naples Airport (APF) shortly after the time the crash was reported. As per reports from The New York Times, the FAA has yet to confirm if the aircraft crashed into any vehicles or if any casualties were reported on the ground.
